I am an ex-pro soccer player from Uruguay. After playing soccer I gained a lot of weight so I started running in 2016. At first I was running just to lose weight and I went from 230lbs to 160lbs.
My first event was a 5K and ever since that race I have been hooked! Now I race Ultras from 50K up to 100 Mile races.
It gives me the push I need to train and compete after working 10 - 12 hour shifts. I am able to accomplish my training without any side effects.
